Laminar and Turbulent Flow

Today I learned about laminar and turbulent flow. In fluid dynamics (the study of moving fluids) a fluid has a dimensionless property known as the Reynolds Number. This number is determined by the fluid's density, velocity, length of travel, and viscosity. While laminar flow is smooth and predictable, turbulent flow is chaotic.
